Hey there, welcome to the How To Market a Band Blog. What I'll be doing here is talking everything marketing for today's indie band and musician. It's not like there isn't a ton of information out there on how to go about doing this but I think after 10+ years of working both in my own and with hundreds of other indie bands... I'd like to think I know a little bit about the subject.

I've been writing music reviews, consulting with and helping indie bands make their mark in the music business for over 10 years now and I'm in the process of completing my latest book on marketing music effectively in the new music business. Once that's completed (2 to 3 months) I'll be sure to let you know and I'll also be giving away a few free copies for fun.

I think to get things going here I'll leave you with this very basic introduction but definitely be on the look out for future posts and my personal and professional insights on the new music business, the internet music business, marketing and music and all things related to how to market a band.
